Want to join Coulsdon Court Golf Club?
Joining a golf club can often be a daunting prospect. You will need to have - or to get - a golf handicap, you may need sponsors, there may be a waiting list, and you may have to find a sizeable chunk of money up-front.
Coulsdon Court Golf Club (CCGC) does away with many of these hurdles. Annual membership (£75) is low cost and the joining fee is only £40. Green fees are paid separately at the Pro Shop, either on a ‘pay as you play’ basis or via one of the green fee deals on offer. The club hosts a warm and friendly group of golfers whose main aim is to enjoy some competitive golf on a Saturday morning, as well as Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and perhaps a friendly drink afterwards in the bar.
If you have a handicap from another golf club, and a valid CDH (Central Database Handicapping) number, we can normally accept your application straightaway. If you do not have a handicap, you simply need a basic understanding of the rules and etiquette of golf and the ability to play to a standard that will allow us to award you a playing handicap (maximum handicap for club competitions - 36). On receiving your application we will invite you to join us, typically on a Saturday morning, pay a green fee, and begin the process (over a maximum period of 3 months) of submitting three cards on the basis of which your application will be assessed.
In summary, some of the benefits of CCGC membership are:
- Low annual subscription only £75
- Only £40 one-off joining fee
- Reserved tee time on Saturday mornings
- An official golf handicap
- Regular competitions
- Option to only pay when you play
- Annual and semi-annual green fee deals on offer at the pro shop
- Play as often as it suits you
